Supporting Band of Rescuers

Band of Rescuers North Yorkshire was one of ELOVATE’s chosen charity partners for 2025, and we’re incredibly proud to have supported the vital work they do.

Every year, our staff vote for the charity they would like the company to fundraise for, and in 2025, Band of Rescuers and York Against Cancer got the most votes, so our fundraising efforts have been split between the two causes.

Band of Rescuers is an amazing local Yorkshire charity that rescues and rehabilitates cats and kittens in need, giving them a second chance at a safe and healthy life. What truly sets Band of Rescuers apart is their commitment to understanding the individual needs of every cat in their care. Each animal receives first-rate treatment and attention, ensuring their health and well-being are always the top priority.

Last year, ELOVATE raised £656 for Band of Rescuers as part of our charity partnership, thanks to the enthusiasm of our team, who took part in bake sales, fancy dress days, and raffles.

We were fortunate to meet with Jess, a volunteer and Treasurer at Band of Rescuers, and hear firsthand about the incredible impact of their work. Learning how their compassion and commitment help alleviate suffering and transform the lives of cats and kittens was genuinely moving.

Jess shared that “Around 70% of our costs relate to veterinary care. To give you an idea of how we will use your funds, this month we have already taken in 10 cats from a multi-cat household where their needs could not be met. All cats will need to be vaccinated, neutered and microchipped before rehoming.  We have also helped a stray cat from Leeds who will need some supportive care and dental treatment before he can be rehomed, but is so happy to be off the streets, out of pain and in a home”.

ELOVATE are proud to play a small part in the meaningful difference they make every single day.
